Sure, feel free to use it. I already patented it. Its the pink belly. Its 3 parts vodka, 1 part cherry liqueur and 2 parts pepto-bismal. It coats as it goes down and tastes freaking awesome. So my question is, how do I get bars to start serving it?
Get tons of hot chicks to order it.
you can't patent recipes
Tell them to try it. Once they try it and think its amazing they are bound to start advertising it.
Become a bartender, cut a deal with the bar, sell it.
or open a bar, that that takes time
become a superstar or open your own bar booya
ew. wtf.

Is it safe to drink mouthwash?
If there are no liquor stores open on a Sunday, is it OK to drink Listerine Mouthwash? People drink it all the time who are alcoholics. Most of the time, I don't think it kills the person unless they drink like two bottles of it.
Ahh... it is in fact "safe" to drink in that it won't kill you, you're right. And its around 52 proof, so that's pretty strong.
But it's not supposed to be drank. You could get sick. But it won't kill you. I guess if you're an alcoholic and the stores are closed, go for it...
The main ingredients in mouthwash turn to formaldehyde at body temperature...in other words...if you drink mouthwash, you are pickling yourself.
The body does not flush out formaldehyde, so once it's there, it's there for life--or death...
The alcohol in mouthwash is methanol. The alcohol found in alcoholic beverages is ehtanol. Drinking mouthwash will not get you drunk and drinking large amounts of mouthwash can cause severe damage you the lining of your stomach
Listerine is not made to ingest, so I would not recommend it. It would most likely cause stomach upset. If someone is that desperate to get a buzz on, then it's a sad, sad thing.
Knock yourself out!
Mix some rubbing alcohol with it while you are at it!
>"I don't think it kills the person unless they drink like two bottles of it."
Wasn't this a line from Bevis & Butthead?
It is probably not safe to drink it, because some of them contains a lot amount of it.
Why not just drink vanilla instead?
Sorry but I thought that I was a bad alcoholic. That is just sad.
um it gets you super high but if you are ok with it then it doesnt matter
No dont do that, just buy beer.
no

Booze: whats your limit?
When i start on the mouth wash
I once had 2 litres of vodka in an evening, and another time, over a case of beer.
These days I make sure it%26#039;s no more than half a litre of liquor or 12 beers, but usually no more than 200 ml of liquor or 6 beers in an evening.
What%26#039;s the point in getting drunk anyway? Given my tolerance and budget, it would be a rather expencive habit.
I%26#039;ll tell you when I get there.
I%26#039;m usually very well behaved (i.e - not drinking at all), but when I get started, I literally won%26#039;t stop until I fall asleep. 20 beers. It%26#039;s nothing to be proud of.
I wish I knew
Disgracefully I never realise till the next day!!
i just try not to get paralytic!
cos that is not a good experiance that i want to have again!
I%26#039;m a lightweight...so usually like 2-3 shots at the bar, or like 4 beers. But at least I don%26#039;t have to spend a lot of money to get wasted :)
I haven%26#039;t hit my limit yet...
And I have yet to get a hangover, no matter how much I drink.
When my cheeks go numb, that%26#039;s a good indication for me to stop!
a bottle and a half of jameson
when i start to sing cos i just cant sing!!
7 smirnoffs
a liter and a half or so of vodka. depends on the night
Aha when i start puking
I have no limit!
Two to three pints at 4.5%.
2 pints
as much as i can handle
the floor
a litre of vodka

Am i going to get fat?
every time i drink loads i lose weight, potentially cuz i dont eat, but now im thinking of eating sirloin steak, will i get fat then if i eat and drink?
If u consume more calories than u burn u will gain weight. It's not rocket science.
It depends try eating it for 2 days then weight yourself if you gain a lot don't eat it. But of you gain a little weight then just eat it once in a while.
Get your hairy knob sucked while you have steak that should balance it out
not if you control your portion of steak you are going to eat, you wont gain.
oh yeah...totally.

Where can i buy beer(crown royal) online?
I can suggest you that use for best quality and in very big discount beer online through printable grocery coupon at www.clickmycoupon.com/grocery-coupon.htm
why not just wait 4 years from now its better off that way you can just get it your self and plus you have to have proof of age such as an ID.
they check your id when they deliver it to you, you dont even know what crown royal is
Crown Royal is whiskey, not beer
ah ha h a ah lmao
Try beer Johnnie Walker it's much better

Um...how can you tell if you are drunk drunk?
like everyone is confident when they drink, only a couple admit they are drunk. I get buzzed...or at least i think i do...i mean, i can answer questions coherently and sometimes i may bump into something or someone maybe...once...
is there an actual quick/easy test to see if you are drunk or not?
I think the 2nd answer has a lot to do with why people assume they%26#039;re only buzzed. Hearing that drunks end up in jail, and encounter police officers leads them to believe that UNLESS you vomit, kill someone, wreck your car, and get a prison sentence you weren%26#039;t drunk.
Fact of the matter is buzzed, tipsy, drunk and wasted are all the same. It%26#039;s to different extents, but they all have the SAME symptoms.
For example, when you are wasted you have the spins. It%26#039;s hard to concentrate on ANYTHING. But when you are drunk, you find it gets hard to focus, but you can. When you%26#039;re buzzed/tipsy, you may have to put a little more effort into it but its not hard. Still, its more difficult than when sober, when its involuntary. Also, when you%26#039;re wasted you%26#039;re pretty numb and can get hit and not feel it (or more likely, bump into a wall or some other inanimate object). But when you%26#039;re buzzed, your face is numb. It%26#039;s just not as numb and its a smaller area that is numb.
So, really, buzzed is just %26quot;very little bit drunk%26quot;, tipsy is %26quot;drunk, but functional%26quot;, drunk and wasted are obvious.
The trouble is that to those who do not drink, they find it utterly incomprehensible that one can drink and not end up wasted. To them, the logical end of a night of drinking is a DUI, a fine, a jail sentence, a murder investigation, sexual diseases and rampant vomitting. Unfortunately, this is not how it works. There are progressions and stages. And remember than the vast majority, some 90%, of drinkers are not alcoholics or binge drinkers. There is nothing wrong with enjoying a beer or glass of wine -- even daily.
I have alluded to some methods to test for drunkeness above, but:
If you can%26#039;t feel your face, you%26#039;re drunk; numb lips only is buzzed.
If you bump into things that don%26#039;t move, you%26#039;re drunk.
If you can%26#039;t focus on something that is typically easy (inanimate objects again), then you%26#039;re drunk.
If you fall down, you%26#039;re wasted
If you can%26#039;t tell, ask a friend. Or try reading. If you find that you can%26#039;t, you%26#039;re drunk. If can but only if you close one eye, sit really close, and squint with the other... well, you%26#039;re wasted.
The main problem is that a LOT of people assume being drunk is totally different that being drunk. Sorry, its not. It%26#039;s just a really strong buzz. Wasted is a whole different ballgame, though. Trust me, don%26#039;t get wasted -- it is absolutely no fun.
you%26#039;ll be able to tell i drunk for along time and thought that i was actually drunk or closer wasted than i actually was. When you get to the stage where your wasted you basically have no control over your mind or very little and as fun as it can be, it can lead to really bad things happening if your not watched out for. Being drunk is quite a bit different its like having a really strong buzz you can feel and realize you are drunk by losing some control over your body and feeling. You have to realize though sometimes alcohol can take a while to hit you so take it somewhat slow or you could end up from going from a buzz to wasted in no time and thats no fun.
you get to a stage where you can`t stand up, you start too chuck up , then you lose consciousness , and if you are lucky a nice police-man takes you to the drunk tank and tucks you in on a nice concrete floor , with all the other spewy drunks ,sure is fun
try saying the alphabet backwards...lol!

Is it possible to drink so much vodka that it tastes like water?
my alcoholic ex boyfriend claimed this. is this even possible?
In short, No.
As you drink more of a product you get used to the alcohol in it. But this is only your tongue getting used to the by-products of the alcohol not the alcohol itself.
Many people claim it is just like water, usually this is done by young males wanting to impress everyone with their drinking "skills".
I have a friend who claimed the same thing, so we swapped the vodka in his bottle for water and I assure you he noticed the difference very quickly!! :)
only the very good stuff. after a few drinks in a row, yes you start to loose the taste and it can just taste like water.
No, not really. Unless, he was so drunk that he could not even taste what he was drinking.
not a chance

I used to have a problem of when i was stressed out i used to drink a lot, and it hadn't been so bad but lately i've been under alot of stress and i have been drinking a lot everyday even when i work. I just feal happier when I have been drinking. I drink everyday, sometimes half a bottle of Jack Daniels a day sometimes a few 40oz of beer , just whatever i can get. The last two days i havent drank, i feal tired and anti-social. Why is this. Please no negative comments im coming here to see what I can do about it.
The answer to your query will not be found in a bottle.
What you have discovered is simple. Alcohol dulls the senses and assist, temporarily, with your problems.
Please seek assistance from someone and avoid an all out bout of alcoholism.
Best of luck and take care.
you should quit drinking and start smoking pot
Easy as this, don't drink...
If you do drink, don't abuse it
Dring a couple beers a week instead

Is smoking tobacco out of a hookah any different than smoking a cigarette?
Yes
Cigarette is filtered with a... filter which does not really filter out a whole lot
Hookah is filtered through water, it makes it cooler and a whole lot smoother. The water in a hookah also removes most of the tar that is produced, although since you do not directly burn the tobacco it does not produce very much. It is a whole lot nicer on the throat, and sheesha (hookah tobacco) is normally flavoured, i like mint. I also think sheesha has less additives than cigarettes do... you barely ever get throat irritation with a hookah in my experience of hte several times i have smoked one.... and i do not smoke cigarettes (have tried) so its not cause my throat is used to it :)

At what age did you first start drinking? What age for doing drugs?
I'm not an alcoholic or anything but I had my first wine cooler when I was 14, my first rum shot when I was 15, and recently, on my 17th birthday, I had my first bottle of liquor; a chocolate malt beverage named "Hot Sex" lol. When it comes to drugs, I had my first experience with pot a few months ago; not addicted but I've had it three times in total.
Drinking laws back in my time were at 18 so yes, those were the days.
The drug question is rough and although we like to admit "we didn't do anything" most us have tried something during our younger days.
Me, I waited until I was much older and can understand what I was doing. OK, done!
And I realized it wasn't worth anything, including the stupidity that followed it, meaning pot smoking and it wasn't for me, it was no more than a short experiment to see the hoopla was all about and drugs are just not cool.
They make you dopey and stupid and can't face reality. The escape is short lived.!!
Be well and have a great day. Stay in school and don't do drugs and say NO to sex until you are old enough to understand the consequence of it...!
Seven. Growing up, my dad has been pretty strict. But apparently that drained all of his strictness for alcohol. Always make me try various alcohol growing up, small amounts of course. Never done drugs. I don't think weed count does it?
i drank a little when i was a teenager maybe 17 but i never got drunk until i was 21
ive never done drugs and have no intention to start.
started drinking at 5 (my aunt gave me some beer and i liked it)
now 21 and haven't gotten around to trying drugs as yet.
21 is drinking age but drugs any age just don't get caught
18 for drinking, never have done drugs yet.
I done both at 14.

Making homemade wine?
how do i get rid of the yeast taste? its nasty.
fine the yeast off using egg protein this will cause them to clump and you can sieve them off. You may need to do this a few times. What varietal are you trying to make wine from?

Not a lot of answers tonight. every one out at the bars?
doesn't anyone drink at home anymore....lol. just kidding. i go out sometimes with friends, after work, with my sister or husband...but i really would rather stay at home, cook diner, have a few drinks, watch t.v. and call it a night...how about you?
I am just waking up here in Florida and ain't been to a bar in a long time,I also like to drink at home if I drink anything.I like to have a beer with my neighbors from time to time out by the fence,or across the lake but all withen walking distance though, but at home cooking or relaxing with music on is where I like it best.My wife seldom has a drink,so I drink her share too !
Yeah! Minus the drinks unless it's Dr. Pepper or Root Beer! Lol... Kind of a homebody myself. Love to gather with friends though on occasion, possibly; go out to eat, have a bowling night, or just take in a movie; or gather at their house. Not too much on the club or bar scene. Don't drink personally. Love to cook, then possibly watch a movie; and then fall asleep on the couch. That is usually more like it. And it's likely that I won't even get to watch the whole movie before I'm dozing off!... COMA! HA HA!
None of you had 'asking stupid questions on the internet' on your list of **** you do at home.
Yes, I'm drinking at home right now. I do not drink and drive so therefore I drink at home.
Enjoying my cocktail right now... Enjoy your evening!!
It's Monday, trying to soak in four more days of work. And still getting over the weekend. Ugh!!! Mondays:(

Why do I get indigestion when i drink certain white wines? The sec I take a sip of the
Didnt used to, but lately everytime i try most whites i get painful indigestion, i can get by with mediums 3-4's but nothing drier, anyone cast any light why?
Wine is very acidic particularly white. Not very good for the stomach
and some wines contain chemicals which also affect not only your stomach but you head.
age, yours and the wine's...

I use Doll, Baby, Honey, Sugar etc when addressing woman, mostly in some sort of serving capacity?
I have never had a complaint, often get a smile and therefore think it acceptable. Do you think it is?
If you are not getting complaints, then I think you shouldn't change the way you serve people.
In my opinion I think its kind of nice and makes the service a little more warm and friendly...
and who knows, maybe one of these days a smile may turn into a wink!! ;)
Don't change...be who you are. Your customers obviously don't mind, and that is all that is important.....friendly service will always bring them back for more!
What does this have to do with drinking questions? I hate being called any of these from someone I do not know well, It is very much of a turn off for me. Think the guy either forgot the name or is trying to hard to get to know me and thinks low of women.
It boils down more to vibes, tone, and body language then words. If you aren't getting complaints or adverse reactions then keep on doing what you're doing.
You might be freaking them out. What if some random guy walked in and called you baby, doll, sugar honey etc?
I think it is - I would be happy to be called any of those names.

Why dont they sell the small 330ml cans of beer in the UK?
you see them on TV all the time but ive never saw them here
Cause if your gonna drink then you should drink, them cans are as pointless as non alcoholic larger!
because everyone in the UK is a pisspot and 330ml will last about 30 seconds :o\
I used to drink the 330's in Australia, and they're gash, they are gone before you know it :o)
I have seen them, Morrisons had 330ml heineken cans a whila ago. Have seen budweiser ones too. But not that often. Why would you want smaller cans anyway?
Because only a complete pussy would drink 330ml of beer and be done with it.
Because in the u.k and Ireland we know how to drink and can handle it

Starting your own winery?
1. where are really good places to own a winery besides california and the place has to be in the United States
2. how much money is need to run a small winery
3. Do i need a degree to run a winery
1. Outside of CA, look to OR
2. A good chunk. You need a lot of land and either buy a pre-existing winery or you would require all new wine making equipment. Most vats alone are over $15,000.
3. No, you need money and you need to pass inspections for cleanliness, quality, etc. Y'know, make sure you aren't selling poison. If you have no history of homemaking wine, you should strongly consider hiring someone who does to be a lead winemaker and let them control the production while you focus on business operations. Of course, as owner, you get to do whatever you want and if that means you want samples, so be it!
If you make your own grapes, expect a fluctuating income. In fact, don't count on a profit for several years. Nature will have its own say in how much and what quality wine you get to produce. If you use other peoples wines, expect a higher expense, lower profits and rest easy knowing you're more or less lying to customers.

Im making homemade wine with black berry jam.?
will that work?
In theory, it should. In practice, I would be more likely to use frozen blackberries and sugar for increased control of the process.
There maybe complicated way to do what your trying, but think there is too much sugar and preservatives to do it natural way.
It may work. You make it and let us know how it went.

Does alcohol kill spiders a bottle of alcohol?
Yes it sure would.
If you were doused in a tank of alcohol and you breathed through your skin (thats how spiders breathe) you would die too :)
yes any kind of alcohol will kill a spider because it is too strong for a insect to fight

What kind of mental issue would this be?
I saw on the news that the gymnast Shawn johnson had a crazed fan after her that traveled from California to Florida where she was on set for "Dancing with the Stars" on ABC. He was captured and was found with a gun, duct tape and love letters and told police that Shawn was speaking to him through the television and that she was meant to have his child. What is this? Schizophrenia?
In response to Nathan K:
Schizoid is something entirely different than Schizotypal, which is what this story is describing.
Schizoid means that a person chooses not to partake in social contact - they do not have hallucinations or any other sort of abnormality besides being generally apethetic toward life and choosing to be alone all the time.
Schizotypal results in superstitions and ideas of reference (which is what is portrayed in this story.
Probably a mix-bag of schizophrenia, something like
Schizoid, along with Audio (but no visual, hence the need for stimulus from the television) Hallucinations.
I say schizoid because of the fact that love letters were present, and probably a whole lot of them, I take it.
Also- you typed HE was captured, rather than SHE.
obsessive compulsive

Worst physical pain you
What is the worst pain you've ever been threw in your life physical pain my worst pain was when i was at my cousions house had a 5 hour long kidney stone no pain medicane either ive had a few since there worst pain ive ever been in
Probably when my appendix burst, it was the worst feeling I have ever had, I honestly at the time felt like I was going to die. It hurt to move and everything I was walking like a hunchback or would crawl to help ease the pain...it was soo bad. It even hurt to breathe, and especially to laugh. I couldn't eat at all (this was before I knew I had it) and had no appetite. I made it to the hospital just in time, they said if they hadn't taken out my appendix when they did, I probably would have gotten really sick or died. The next most pain I have ever endured, was spraining my knee which I sprained four years ago, and to this day it has never been the same and I still get pain in it every now and again. But yahh I bet kidney stones woulda really hurt man .
i got my thumb stuck in a locked car door when i was five.
and also.
the whole first week of having rotator cuff tendinitis.
worst week of sleep i've ever had.
i dont think i slept more than 20 hours the entire week because my shoulder hurt so bad.
childbirth
torn cruciate knee ligament when i was 11
very soree at the time
First I would have to say my pain after my knee surgery. Then maybe childbirth but the knee comes first.

When working a night shift from 7:00p.m. to 7:00a.m. do you have any suggestions for sleeping thru the day?
yeah, I work night shift for 2 evenings from 7pm to 7am,, when I come home from the 1st nights work, I have difficulting in sleeping during the day, so when I go to my 2nd night to work 7pm to 7am, I am dragging my ***, and can hardly do my job. Sometimes, I fall asleep at my desk around 5:00anm. Not to worry, because the other people that work this shift with me also fall asleep. I even have one girl that brings in her air mattress, blanket and pillow and takes her evening nap for about 2 hours. I prefer not to do this, as I have just started my job. The great think about this job, is that we only work 2 day shifts 7:00am to 7:00pm, 2 night shifts 7:00pm to 7:00am and then we are off for 4 days and then the schedule starts over. It's great. I love the work, the hours and the time off during the week when everyone else is working or at school.
you just have to set your mind to it that when you get done from work that you will lay down and try to get some sleep.i know it's hard to do in the day light, and one thinks about the work around the house, or other chores that should be getting done. getting in a habit of doing this will help as the weeks go on.
That's tough working rotating shifts. After you finish your 2nd day shift, try to stay up as late as you can, and then sleep in as long as you can. Maybe you can stay up till 3 or 4am, then sleep in until after noon. Then after your 1st night shift, go straight to bed as soon as you get home. Hopefully you have a quiet, dark place to sleep.
I'd recommend taking frequent short naps. Structure your life, on and off of work, so that you can take a short nap at least every 5 hours when you're awake.
Additionally, make sure you eat healthy and exercise every day.
Then you'll be fine.
I agree with harley jazz,
Music, coffee, and moving around.
Use the memory of how tired you were when you're supposed to go to sleep.
What exactly is keeping you away during the day? If it is noise or sunlight, you can get earplugs and an eye-mask.
put up black blankets in your room so that its dark like night and then you might sleep a little better.
black out curtains, cold room, and maybe bloody mary.
Id get up and take a walk for your breaks, moving around will get the blood flowing and muscles moving.
Some simple stair walking or a few jumping jacks even a walk outside in the cold *if its safe. Drink plenty of water, watch your food intake at night, small well chosen meals, your body isnt into a set pattern and our organs to have rest cycles at night, so you dont want to over burden it, make your 6pmish or near that time meal your biggest. The rest of the night small healthy easy to digest foods.
No matter what shift your coming home from, allow time to destress, throw in some laundry, do some light house chores. I would stay off the phone and computer, as these are stimulants to the brain, and the anticipation of email or texting with friends can cause too much stimulation and the body/brain wont be able to relax. *I just read about a study on the effects of such things, and it does make sence, come home text, now the anticipation waiting and staying alert while waiting, has nothing to do with relaxation. Take a hot bath, that might relax you, and then take a not so hot shower to wake you up before going to work. Sounds like a great job though!!

HELP! I need something to worry myself sick over, but there isn
The state I live in has no chupacabras, no big-foot sasquatches, no mountain lions, no wolves, no UFOs or aliens, not even ghosts or not even a poisonous snake!
I need something to worry myself sick over before i allow myself to become too complacent. Everyone keeps telling me that once you become complacent, you're basically dead. So what can keep me on my toes?!?!?!
move somewhere else
You could become obsessed with the fact that you're a loser

Are hard boiled eggs healthy?
Last time I had two was last thursday...and I had two today..I only like the egg white, and usually throw the yolk away. Although sometimes I eat the yolk and white, and with the other hard boiled egg I just eat the egg white. I heard the yolk is filled with cholesterol and bad for you. Is this true?
Yes, it is true. The yolk contains mostly cholestrol(which you should avoid), while the egg-white is almost pure proteine.
No eggs are good, they are great protein!
heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ed the freshman

Is worshiping the ground one of your contacts walks on normal?
She's smokin hot!
You will worship on a tray of uncooked rice, you will 'stroke' your ego, and then cook me a meal with that rice. I personally like sweet sticky rice with mango, and I better have it in an hour. And you better be nekkid
You're shirt being to tight is not my concern, it's your timing that I'm counting on.....
Meppa, I would never leave you behind, because I will be too busy riding it.
I know I am, but really Walt, why don't you build yourself an altar with a nice cushioned kneeler? It's much easier on your knees.
True Walt, but an altar can also give some extra leverage when you are trying to achieve certain worshiping positions.
Hypno, how could you? I though we were gonna run away together. Is there room for little old me in this party? I don't think it is abnormal to worship a contact at all.
EDIT: OOOOh a party for three. YAY.
No, it's a bit pathetic actually. Man up Walt.
Thanks...gifts are welcome, also.
Syd he's not catholic so he wouldn't understand! lol...
I think she likes it and you better get her her rice!

Is there a brand new, quick fix for acne breakouts?
It's been three years since I saw my friend and we're going to go hang out tomorrow, but she told me she was free the day I started breaking out (I've been getting acne since I was a kid, and i have some pretty bad scars left) and now the area around my mouth and right between my eyes is covered in giant white heads. It's disgusting..I wouldn't normally care (it'll go away eventually) but I'm looking to impress my friend tomorrow and this will not do. I wash my face three times daily with the ProActiv 3 Step acne medication, and while it does sometimes work at other times it'll do nothing for me. I don't touch my face, pick at zits, or eat sugary substances. I drink a lot of water and I do my best to stay out of the sun..but I get hit really hard with acne. Every zit is a giant inflamed splotch with a massive whitehead in the middle, and a few times I've had those acne nodule things.
Don't say 3 times a day is too much, because if I cut back to one or two a day I end up with even worse acne. More facial washing just causes dryness, it never solves anything.
My advice to you is to not dry your face with a face towel. Start using paper towels to dry your face, remember you wash you towel in detergent for your clothes and there will always be detergent on them. When you pat your face after you have washed you are putting that detergent and bacteria on the towel after the 1st wash. So basically you are recycling the bacteria from the morning wash and letting it multiply on your towel and then putting the same bacteria back on your face.
Use paper towels, get a good sunblock not sunscreen, but sunblock.
Email us we have a great acne system, easy to use and effective.

My mom has an variant in her skull?
The doctor found this when my mom had a bonescan done, ( she has cancer) but what could it be? I am a bit worried. Today, she received a CAT scan to find out what it is.
it may be a normal variant, meaning most people don't have that feature, but it is not anything that will cause her problems.

Just A Thought...*Condoms*?
OK so, i am not 18 years or older but... Where would I be able to get free condoms just to be on the safe side?
the doctors, school sometimes have them or school nurses, any FPA centre, and GUM clinic.
there are plenty of places.
Emma (:
Me and my friends got free condoms when we were 16 from the planned parenthood clinic but it was a lunchsack FULL of condoms for free.
Now they charge 10 cents for each one. Lol.
I'm just saying they used to give you like 50 for free, so good luck!
(Btw I didn't use them, I didn't even "lose it" til I was 18. But boy did they!!)
Free clinics, health dept, aids awareness places. Etc etc. And some programs around town for teens should supply free condoms. But be careful just because they're free doesn't mean they're the best condoms for you.
Planned Parenthood always has free condoms. Student Health offices on most college campuses will have them as well.
go to a free clinic. check with the school nurse. if all else fails get the at wal mart with the self checkout.

Should i use growth hormones?
is there anything bad about them? i really want to get taller for basketball and football.....
Growth hormones are good if you have supervised administration of the drug i.e. a doctor who knows what he is doing.
Growth hormones does more than make you tall.
If your bone growth plates have already closed, they will not make you taller. It'll make your cartilage grow; example, you nose will get bigger, you could have lots of joint paints because the cartilage are growing between the bones, but there's no space. It can also induce abnormal growth in other parts of your bodies, producing tumors, and such.
Unless you're a midget, and under age of 12, you probably shouldn't mess with it. Just not worth the risk.
Well, Bubba - sometimes you gotta play the cards you're dealt! There's nothing you can do but wait. You have at least 6 more years of puberty left with the possibility of more growth - anything is possible - but there are no guarantee's. It is all in God's plan - NOT yours! There are no quick fixes nor magic potions to hurry things along. Each person must wait their turn to complete development - and you are no exception. Everything will happen in due time - and NOT before.
Certain steroids can stop you from growing any taller...happened when I took them in highschool...I haven't grown since
Just eat well, sleep well, stay away from drugs, alcohol and cigarettes, play sports, don't lift too many weights, and you'll grow to your full potential
Stay away from that stuff dude...your too young. The side effects of long term GH use can be messed up. It's usually used by men in their 40's.
Supplementing powerful hormones into a young health body is never a good idea.....google all the side effects.
Stay away from it. Your body wont grow in proportion. Some parts will grow and others wont.
no, you should not. not without a doctor's OK and script.

Why do people faint after giving Blood?
Today, my school had a blood drive like they have every year. I couldn't do it since I'm a year too young. You have to be 17.
But anyway. I heard of a few people who passed out during it or after. And people puking afterward. Why do people pass out (not from the sight of blood) after giving blood? And what causes them to throw up?
I'm doing it next year :)
And how much blood is in the human body who is 6'?
And what would happen if they take a little bit too much blood? Could you like die or something?
When you donate blood, it reduces your blood volume. Your volume quickly goes back to normal when the missing blood is replaced by fluid, but if you stand up quickly right after donating, a small number of people will lose consciousness.
You can lose a third of your blood volume, and still be able to stand up and walk around. You'll look like death warmed over, and be pretty white, but it isn't going to kill you. So just taking a pint at donation time isn't very dangerous. If you lose too much blood, you will go into shock and die.
The average adult has about five quarts of blood.
Your body has to work hard to replace what has been taken. Giving you a tired and groggy feeling. People react differently than others. Some cant walk for a little while. Some pass out. Some puke. No big deal it just sucks. But it shows the dedication humans have for one another.
Fear Factor, Bubba! Some people pass out at the very thought of a needle being stuck into their arm. I've seen Mucho Macho men you wouldn't think would be afraid of ANYTHING bite the dust when a little teeny, weeny needle gets stuck in their arm for a blood test.
yeah you do because you just lost all that blood and oxygen so your body has to get back into its natural rhythm. it really hurts to give blood kid and your a pretty big guy(tall) so thats gonna be a lot
They just can't stand the sight of blood, I guess.

Im a week late for my period?
Im 19 years old and i am sexualy active. I normally get my period on the 16 or the 19 of every month but this month i didnt get it, its been a week now and im starting to get nervous and I always use protection. but i left on the 3rd for a vacation in PR and i came home on the 13th. 2 days before i left my bf had crashed my truck and ive been under alot of stress, and on top of all that i lost my job last friday. My parents and some family friends have really been on my case about everything and making my stress levels go threw the roof. now i have read that stress and not eating right can change the cycle when i was gone i really didnt eat to much, and i spent alot of time with 2 other females so im wondering if the stress and the being with 2 other woman could have changed it? Please someone help me.
It is more than likely all the stress you have been under, as well as your eating habits/diet. The weather can even throw off periods for women. The more you worry about it, the more you will get stressed and delay it. Take a pregnancy test just in case if you are unsure and maybe it will give you a peace of mind. Just try not to worry too much about it and it will eventually come. If you don't get it this month, take a pregnancy test or even see your doctor.
It sounds like the stress is making your period late. If you two use protection each time then you do not have to worry. Try not to worry so much it will come when it is ready.
it's definitely the stress. it sounds like you have a lot on your plate right now, so i wouldn't think you were pregnant. give it about another week or so, try to relax a little if possible and see what happens.
more than likely is the stress that's causing it and not pregnancy just relax and wait couple more days It happens to all of us at some point in time.
It sounds like stress is making it late. I wouldnt worry about it. If it doesnt show up in the next few weeks Id take a pregnacy test but I wouldnt be too worried yet

hi kellie,
been out of the office since this morning, but i saw your questions and (surprise, surprise), I have an answer... (which is weird, by the way, you keep asking stuff i either know about or have personal experience with), so hear goes... i have suffered with a sour stomach over the years, and to me it sounds like you have gas. also known as heartburn, sour stomach, indigestion, acid reflux whatever. the symptoms are widely varied, everything from a feeling of bloating, to actual pain, to feeling like something is stuck, to, believe it or not, headaches. so... treatment options... when my daughters had gas as babies we would put in some simethicone drops in their bottles, i also took it, and they would sleep thru the night, no cholic (sp?). all natural, you could drink the whole bottle if you were of a mind to. looks like one of those tylenol childrens dropper bottles, and should be located in the baby section of wal-mart (again). also, baking soda, say about a tsp in a 4 oz. glass of water will reduce the acid content of your stomach and may afford you some relief (also likely, a huge belch). i personally take zantac for the most part (generic name: rantidine) also at walmart. but the real kicker that my wife taught me, is liquid benadryl. its for allergic reactions which happen a lot more than you think, they're just small allergic reactions and so don't make your throat swell shut but may upset your stomach. especially in the case of perscription painkillers, which have a tendency to be hard on your stomach anyway. hope that helps. be back tomorrow. god bless you. p.s. one more thing.. benadryl can be taken in a half dose over what is said on the bottle, it doesn't take much. it also has a habit of making you sleepy especially when mixed with other medications with sedative effects.
Hi;
It could be many things. Please do not leave it see your family doctor.

Do green tea and lemon water ACTUALLY work?
I've heard green tea boosts your metabolism, and drinking lemon water helps you lose weight.
1.) does anyone actually have any PERSONAL experience saying either one works? and
2.) if you drink lemon water, does it have to be fresh lemon or is lemon juice okay?
Yes it does work. The amount of green tea you have to drink is actually alot, but it worked for me because I was using it to replace high calorie coffee drinks and sodas. Also, the lemon water really does work and you should only use fresh lemons. Lemon juice in a bottle usually contains sodium (unfortunately).
Green tea is great for your health. Lemon water is great first thing in the morning to get you metabolism going. Apple cider vinegar is another great one as well.

Fitness and Diet experts: How do I decorate my home gym?
I have a room set up for a gym. It has a treadmill, dumbells, and toning bands. That's all I can afford right now, and other people on here said that's just fine for me to be fit.
My point is that I have no decorating sense WHATSOEVER! I know, I'm a girl, but creativity is just not my thing. I need something to inspire me when I go into the gym, I need to feel great when I go in there. The problem is it is really bland! There's nothing on the walls, there's a workout mat on the carpet but that's about it. What should I do to decorate? Any ideas?
Please? Thanks!
In my workout room I put up a bulletin board and I use it to hang different workout methods that I may have found in a magazine or something. That way I can look at it and see what different ideas I can do. I change the pictures as often as I need to. Also I have mirrors. I do not have them hanging, they are just sitting up against the wall. It is great to have mirrors so you can watch your posture while doing certain types of exercises, plus it is a great way to see your body changing shape. I also have hooks hung up so I can hang dyna bands or use to hang up a shirt if I am getting too warm. I also have a poster that came with my weight set that shows all the different exercises you can do and shows the different muscle groups and has them label with their correct terminology. I am sure you could find a similiar poster if you ask around at different stores that sell weight equipment. I guess the best thing to keep in mind when decorating is to keep the decorating to its purpose, working out. It helps keep you focused as to why you are there and decorate it with the things you will need. Have Fun!!
Put up some Mirrors! Ikea has some great, huge, mirrors that will help you with your form and also inspire you! There's nothing wrong with a functional gym. Maybe put up some black and white pictures of inspirational people. Go with a simple color scheme with your accessories.

How come my eyelids are naturally dark?
then the rest of my face?can i lighten them?is it normal?
I'm not sure what this is called, but one of my work colleagues also has very dark eyelids. She finds it very annoying but we think that it is great, as it saves her having to use any eyeshadow on her lids. I doubt that you could do anything, safely, to lighten them, exept using make-up.
It is probably due to a hereditary thing. I doubt it is anything major. I am sure it is normal. you can go to webmd.com, it may have something.

How can i make sure i drink alot of water everyday?
how do u ?carry a water bottle?
always have water available no matter where you are or where you going. Goign to school? put one in you bag. Going to work, bring a bottle and get some out the kooler. At home, get a kooler or make sure you have some in the frig.
Good luck.
remember for every oz of soft drink you need 1 extra oz of water to flush your system.
500 cl bottles are helpful, but just get into the habit of drinking a pint of water the first thing in the morning. Make the choice to always drink water or juice and nothing else. Teas, juice and fruit and vegetables also count as having water content the body needs.
take sips whenever you are doing activities. Drink water instead of soda during your meals. take a few stops at a fountain every now and then. carrying a bottle also helps. buy a huge bottle and make sure it is finished.
well this is what i do
i carry a bottle of water at school and befor school is over i make sure ive drinken it all
then when i get home from school i drink another bottle
then i have one with dinner
then sometimes befor bed
i always have a bottle of water with me wherever i go , a big bottle and just drink it lol make sure its cold its nicer to drink lol
Have a bottle on you all the time like in your bag or just keep some in the car if you drive. If at home just make sure youre drinkin lots :)
buy some 2 litre bottles of water and aim to have one empty every day!
Get some squash to flavour it with
Just do it!

Can i not get any taller now im 18 going on 19?
Hey girls generally grow up to an age of 20 years so don't worry much, you still have an year to grow.Try to do some exercises which may increase ur height
usually a womens growing period ends around this time. it's possible but unlikely. the best indication about your heighth is to look at your parents...primarily the parent you take after the most. that will give you a good indication as to how tall you'll be.
I think i've stopped getting taller, i'm 17 and 5ft 3in, i hope i haven't though :( & i heard you stop growing when your 21 but everyone stops/starts growing at different ages.
i dont think so no, and if its even possibly i think it would be barely noticeable.
i'm 20 now and still 5'2, and i was 5'2 when i was 18 i think as well
David Robinson grew 12" in college. That being said though, the average age at which physical development ends is around 19, so you very well might be done.
You may still grow a little, but the growth period for most people ends at about 19. My wife grew about an inch between 18 and 19.
It's unlikely, you've probably stopped growing by now, I had stopped growing when I was 15.
i seriously doubt it, girls typically stop growing at the age of 18, you may add an inch, but i think you're done growing
how tall are you and why would you want ot be short...all my gfs want to be tall like a models.
Sorry to disappoint, but your not going to get taller.
It's pretty unlikely. Sorry!
i've been 5'0" since i was 12....i'm not the best example i suppose
probably not
nope youve stopped growing

This may sound stupid but..?
wht will happen if u pour coke down a clogged drain?my friend wants to know.
pouring coke down a clogged drain will undrain it, and is used monthly to prevent clogging....the coke will dissolve what ever it is clogging the drain...very good home remedy instead of using drain-o.
Like coffee stated it will fizz up but it will unclog the drain...give it a try :)
*Vinegar and Baking Soda will also unclog a clogged drain..*
It won't unclog the drain if that's what you're thinking.
It'll get all fizzy.
i think your sink could blow up i would run...

Camping theme for my birthday party! (:?
okay, I am turning 14 on May 4th, and I'm having a camping theme, we are going to sleep in a tent, and have scavenger hunts, but I need your help.
For the scavenger hunt it's going to be when it gets dark, and i'm going to use a flashlight i'm inviting 6 girls including me, so we each will be paired with someone, and I have no idea what to hide??!! I don't really want to use glow and the dark stuff because we will still have the flashlights.
Oh and If you could think of some other games too that would be great. NO TRUTH OR DARE.
And only answer if your going to help me. Thanks!!
since you are using flashlights you should go to a place like party city and find something that includes something about camping. For example a action figure bear, food , minature rv, a small tent, thx there u go hope this helps
Find things around your house and outside and have them look around. Another random game you could play is give the person a dollar for who ever brings you say a brush first or A dollar to whom ever runs up to you first that has a hair clip.
I did that once, it was loads of fun. And we got a really long extension cord from the house, and got a small tv and watched movies in the tent. It was wonderful.
Hide: bag of marshmellows, decorations that you can then cover the tent with, chocolate or candy, cd's to play later, pop,

Bread and butter pudding, gone wrong?
My girlfriend just made bread and butter pudding. But it's come out very much like a souffle.
What has she done wrong? How long should I beat her for?
Use your loaf.
The silly woman added too much egg and milk mixture and didn't cook it for long enough.
Beat her well with a wooden spoon for a minimum of twenty minutes, or until juicy and tender.
Are you a crazy person person you dont beat another person because they dont cook thinks the way you like
beat? why would you beat her for it?
why dont u try cooking it for your girlfriend instead of her doing it for u

Whats the difference between vegetarian eggs and normal eggs?
i didnt even know they made vegetarian eggs. i thought that i could eat eggs, until my dad bought vegetarian eggs. does that mean other eggs arnt vegetarian? i thought egg was dairy and vegans didnt eat eggs, so shouldnt they be called vegan eggs? im so confused.
'Vegetarian' eggs do not mean who can eat them. It means that the chickens were fed on a vegetarian diet.
Vegetarian eggs are eggs from chickens who are fed a vegetarian diet (no animal byproducts in their feed and not allowed to roam and eat worms, bugs, etc).
If you really want vegetarian eggs keep in mind that the only truly vegetarian eggs come from chickens who are not raised humanely (not free-range, probably stacked in cages), and are therefore dependent on the farmer for all their food.

What can I use for buttermilk if I don
I am making a cake and it calls for 1/2 cup buttermilk and I don't have any.
Thanks :)
* Milk (just under one cup)
* 1 Tablespoon white vinegar or lemon juice
Preparation:
1. Place a Tablespoon of white vinegar or lemon juice in a liquid measuring cup.
2. Add enough milk to bring the liquid up to the one-cup line.
3. Let stand for five minute. Then, use as much as your recipe calls for.
Add 1tbsp of vinegar or lemon juice to the 1/2 cup measurement and fill the rest up with milk. You could also add milk to plain yogurt to make it runny enough to use.
Natural yoghurt or fromage frais make good substitutes.

Why is it that when I drink alcohol, my voice gets lower as though I
My voice tends to get a bit higher throughout the day as I talk or sing, but drinking resets it to its morning low pitch. I don't think it's just dehydration, as I tend to drink a ton of water along with the alcohol and my voice doesn't get scratchy or anything.
Alcohol relaxes your muscles, including those in your throat.
This often leads to sleep apnea or snoring. This is what changes your larynx for a few hours.
I think that one factor is that alcohol tends to be consumed in group settings where the noise level is higher, and intoxication tends to make people talk louder anyhow. And booze and and cigarette smoke seem to go hand-in-hand.
So I suspect that folks that are drinking are stressing their voices with environmental factors like smoke and by talking more loudly.
drinking also makes people think they can sing .
why does it matter?

Making cake in a crock pot?
So I know that you can make cake in a crock pot, and I've seen tons of recipes online for homemade ones...but what about just a simple store bought cake mix cake? I have some Betty Crocker box confetti cake mix...can I just mix all the ingredients together that it calls for and just pour it into the crock pot or do I need to do something else to it? And if so, then how long would I cook it?
Crock Pot Cake
Ingredients:
1 cake mix any brand any flavor
1 small box instant pudding use the same flavor as the cake
12 ounces sour cream
4 eggs
3/4 cups oil
1 cup water
Instructions:
Spray inside of crackpot with nonstick cooking spray. Mix all ingredients together and pour in crockpot. Cook on low for about 6 hours. Turn crockpot off and let sit for about 1 to 2 hours. Then you can flip it out onto a plate. If you do not let it cool long enough before taking it out of the crockpot half of it stays in the crock.
Since you have a confetti cake, I would use vanilla pudding mix.
all i know is it takes a couple of hours for it to cook so definetly just make it in the oven but if you really want to its fine to make it with cake mix just look up the exact amount of time cuz i cant remember
Whenever I Hear The Word Crock Pot I Think Beef Roast. So Cake In A Crock Pot Sounnds Gross but oh well
Wow. That's new. I didn't know that was possible.
With all do respect.... Why would you?

Is there such thing as Kosher milk?
I am a former chef and live in Toronto Canada, I have bought Kosher milk here for years, and YES there is such thing, it has nothing to do with the Rabbi, but it is pasteurized at a higher temperature and is produced in a kosher dairy facility, I have drank it for years as even the 2% and 1% taste richer due tom the high temperature used in the process, it reduces the water content just a bit so 2% is as flavourful as the 3.25% homogenized one, it is so rich I thought the first time I bought it I picked up cream by mistake.
anything can be kosher.
kosher just means that a jewish priest has come by and blessed it there could be kosher candy or kosher brownies.
anything can be kosher.
no..not that i know of

Can ice coffee make you feel nervous?
Sometimes when i drink it i get nervous feeling, but sometimes when i drink it i dont.
Too much caffeine can give you the jitters; increased pulse / heart rate and shortness of breath.
It can depend on how strong the coffee is and how sensitive you are to caffeine.
because there is caffeine in the coffee you may get a little jittery even if its iced
also how much food you have in your system effects how much the caffeine impacts you body
Yes, it can. Maybe you're sensitive to the caffeine.
yes it can ,caffine is still there, different temp. or decaff

Here's the deal, Not only am I on my period, but I have some sort of upset stomach, I'm able to hold down food, but the idea of food doesn'ts ound appetizing. I need to eat something, since I haven't eaten since noon, any ideas on what I should make to help my stomach?
Rice is good for upset tummies. Even just plain rice, and you could make a little mild stir-fry or salad adding some green veges like peas or beans. You can make it more tasty adding soy sauce if you feel like a bit more flavour.
Tomato soup with rice!
Put 1/2 cup of minute rice into 1/2 cup boiling water, stir, remove from heat.
Prepare canned tomato soup with milk instead of water, that cuts down the acidity and makes it easy on your stomach. You could even stir in 1/4 tsp of baking soda to reduce the acidity even more.
Stir the rice into the soup, and enjoy.
This is one of my favorites, comfort food and easy on the stomach as well.
Hope you feel better soon!
Carbohydrates - lots of them,
Cheese sandwiches
Pasta - any, doused with olive oil and maybe garlic or chilli
mashed potato
How about good old fish and chips from the chippy?

Is it ok to use a microwave dinner that you put in the refrig but didn
i didn't know that the directions said to put in the freezer. since it was overnight in the refrig but not the freezer is its spoileD?
It's fine. It may not take as long in the micro since it's no longer frozen.
loosen or cut slits in the plastic wrapper because there will be more steam created
It won't take as long to heat up if it is not frozen
It will be ok if you eat it today

Is corn syrup really bad?
i mean people always say its bad but is it really cause now all of the sudden these commercials say it is okay so which is it?????????????...
"High Fructose" corn syrup is what is supposed to be bad. It supposedly causes an overreaction by your liver which produces a spike in insulin, causing a crash in your blood sugar levels.
It sure tastes good, though.
They are talking about High Fructose Corn Syrup - which is made from corn starch - not regular corn syrup that you buy as a baking ingredient in the store.
I don't think they have conclusive evidence that it is bad (meaning scientific studies showing how it causes harm) just yet - but for me personally, I try not to eat it as much as possible. I avoid it whenever I can.
Also remember that those commercials are produced by the people making money off of hfcs, sometimes money clouds people's idea of what is right and wrong.

eggs shrimp rice
There are two things that are very important, and then you can follow any recipe you like or tweak them around to your liking.
The rice: Cook the rice a day ahead if possible - day old rice seems to work best (plus the rice should be cooled anyway). But before you get to that point, take some rice, such as jasmati, and rinse it off a few times under cold water (with a colander with small holes or even a pot and pour out the water) until the water runs about clear. I usually end up doing about 10 rinses. This will take the starch off the outside of the rice kernel so that your rice doesn't stick together and get all mushy when you cook it.
The cooking method: Stir-fry is meant to be done at a very high heat. Cook at a high temperature (note: you don't want the oil to smoke. It can get hazy, but try to use an oil with a high smoke point, if it smokes, it's burnt and useless) and make sure you have everything with you that you need to prepare it. For example, you may add the shrimp and any veg first, stir fry, then your rice and stir fry it really quickly, and then add your sauce and/or seasonings, until well coated. It shouldn't take that long, but you need to do it quickly. With stir-fry, there's no time to look around for ingredients that you don't have ready.
If you follow those methods, the recipe part will just be trying to figure out what is right for your tastes, but at least you'll be doing it correctly!
Some flavors/sauces/spices that are dominant in this type of cooking are soy, sugar, salt, ginger, garlic, and hot pepper, such as sambal (sambal oelek is popular) or sriracha.
ADDITION!
And the soy does cause the rice to turn brown, although you can also do this with seasonings. My suggestion is to use teriyaki though, i think it makes a more well rounded flavor that isn't too salty. You can do this yourself by adding sugar (brown or white is fine), garlic (fresh, jarred, granulated, powdered...) , and ginger (if desired) to soy sauce. Don't worry about amounts, just add them to your own taste. Hope this helps!
