Whats the difference between vegetarian eggs and normal eggs?

i didnt even know they made vegetarian eggs. i thought that i could eat eggs, until my dad bought vegetarian eggs. does that mean other eggs arnt vegetarian? i thought egg was dairy and vegans didnt eat eggs, so shouldnt they be called vegan eggs? im so confused.

'Vegetarian' eggs do not mean who can eat them. It means that the chickens were fed on a vegetarian diet.

Vegetarian eggs are eggs from chickens who are fed a vegetarian diet (no animal byproducts in their feed and not allowed to roam and eat worms, bugs, etc).

If you really want vegetarian eggs keep in mind that the only truly vegetarian eggs come from chickens who are not raised humanely (not free-range, probably stacked in cages), and are therefore dependent on the farmer for all their food.
